Brand Identity for BLUEDOT. boutique store in Beijing, CHINA

Minimalism and boldness are two keywords for creating the logo, the use of simple shapes forms a silhouette as a logo mark for the brand. 

Bluedot is a designer brand boutique store that collects creativity and nature in one coherent space. Together with the background of ‘Pale Blue Dot,’ a photograph of our planet earth taken by Voyager 1 space probe in 1990, Bluedot aims to be the special ‘home’ like earth while referring to the idea of being seen as inconspicuous like the dot in the photograph. The brand identity approach is based on their goal of being special while remaining simple.

 

The ellipse being placed on the bottom right corner creates a sentence format, which indicates a proper ending as a reference to what the brand aims to achieve: to complete ones’ goal of finding the perfect style in the shop.
